Taking care of all you lighting needs!! 

I don't know how many of you know this, but right now I am  redoing my home.  When my hubby and I first started I thought this is going to be so much fun....  That was until I realized there are so many choices to be made!  Wall color, cabinet lay out, flooring  and light fixtures. 

I had no clue where to even start looking.  I'm sure you can imagine my relief when I found 1800lighting.com

Even though I have so many other choices to makes its nice to know that my light fixtures will now be a bit easier!

They have so many fixtures to choose from and you can check them all out for the convenience of your own computer.  They do also have stores in New Jersey and South Florida neither of which I live near.  

So for me it was online browsing which was perfect I prefer to shop online.  Little kids and shopping for home items not a fun combination! 

Plus I love the fact that online I can see all the facts and I can stare at my computer screen and then walk to the area I want to put the lighting fixture and imagine just how awesome it is going to look.  My hubby laughed at me when I walked from room to room with my lap top holding it up to the ceiling.

We have guest over a lot for dinner.  I guess you could say out kitchen table is where we gather together when we have friends over.  To us its one of the most important rooms in the house.

So of course this is the room that gave me the most stress.  I wanted something that people would remember.  I think the main focal point is always the kitchen table so I wanted something super stylish for above it.  I found this:

So pretty and comes in your choice of finish Brushed Bronze, Brushed Nickel or Olde Bronze finish!  I like the Brushed Nickle, I think it would match my kitchen perfectly.  And really compliment the rest of the room.

This is just one of the great Ceiling Pendant choices!  They have so many more and there is something for everyone's personal taste and home!  I think this particular light would look not only amazing in a kitchen, but also in an entry way!  I would love for people to walk into my home and have this be the first thing they see.  The piece is very versatile as to where you could place it in your home.

I'm sure as any married couple knows if you love something your better (worse) half will not.

My favorite part is the chain hanging look. 

So of course my hubby is not a fan of this.  He would prefer:

I'm sure you can tell they look the same just different up top.  My hubby's choice would sit flush against the ceiling where mine would hang.  He doesn't really have a reason why I think the man just enjoys being difficult.

  

Again this is just one of the semi flush ceiling mounts!  If this particular fixture doesn't match your home don't worry it is just one of many :)

The hubby and I are no where near ready for light fixtures yet so we do still have time to argue... I mean discuss which will be best for our home.

On the plus side both our choices are Hinkley-Lighting

So even though we don't agree on the light fixture we at least agree on the Brand :)!

Big Cookie Review

One of my all time favorite snacks is cookies and milk!  And nothing is better then a chewy, yummy and melt in your mouth cookie; these 3 together make the perfect cookie.  And even better yet when they are homemade!  4 things that will have your toes curling and your taste buds dancing!
I found a cookie company that scores a perfect 10 in all 4 of these categories! 
  Recently I had the pleasure of reviewing 3 cookies from Big Cookie.  

Never heard of them??  

You have no clue what you are missing! 

 They are homemade gourmet cookies for sale that are delivered right to your door!  I don't know about you, but they had me at  homemade :)

I was able to try:

chocolate trifecta

big white chocolate pecan crunch

big smooth butterscotch walnut

These cookies were so big, I was able to share them with my little guys.  Each were 2.63 oz!  Now that is a big cookies :)  We loved them all, our favorite being the chocolate trifecta!  Each cookie was nice, moist and chewy.  They all had a rich gourmet flavor that had us wanting to keep eating.  I could tell the ingredients were high quality.  Plus each cookie is individual wrapped locking in all that great taste, freshness and moisture!

Big Cookies took my milk and cookies snack to a whole new level :)

This time of year is my absolutely favorite time to go shopping for my kids!  I love dressing them up in cute little summer outfits not to mention the colors are always super fun and cute.  With so many choices out there though its really tough to find a good reliable company that offers not only cute clothing but also high quality clothing.

So today I'm going to take the guess work out of shopping and introduce to you to an amazing company!

Klever Kids  has the most stunning little boy and girl clothing!  I love how they have everything you could possible need to make a cute outfit.  Tees, shorts, sweaters, heck they even got the undies!  They also have a really neat Wardrobe Builder on their site that put cute little outfits together for you.  Which works for me, just last week my hubby told me I can't put the boys in plaid shorts and stripped shirts.... 

So I know you are all want to see which outfit I got to review.  I was able to review the boys cargo shorts in midnight and a boys white tee shirt from the all aboard collection.  

So lets talk about the shorts they are Super Soft made with100 % Pima Cotton Relaxed material, they have an Elastic Waist with matching Drawstring.  My little guy loves how comfy they are and the fact he can run around and play without feeling pinched or confined   I love that they are durable.  I'm sure anyone with little boys know they are rough they run fall roll and everything in between they  need clothing that can hold up I know for a fact that the Klever Kids cargo shorts will get the job done!

Next I was able to review a graphic white tee.  My little guy loves it!  Its a cute little skull tee that is done very tastefully for a little boy.  My son told me he wants to keep it nice for school so he can be one of the cool kids :).
If you don't like this design again this is only 1 of the many shirts they carry.

I love the red, white and blue colors and I def. know what my little guy will be wearing on the 4th of July! 

If you have a little girl you absolutely must check out their girl clothing!!  So cute I have 2 little boys though and my hubby told me not to get any ideas :( lol


I know today I talked about spring and summer clothing I want you to know they also carry fall and winter outfits. 
I can't wait to get some cute back to school clothing.
I love the Klever Kids website!  Cute seasonal kid clothing that are made to last!  What more could a parent want?!?!?!  My little guy is starting kindergarten this year and I know he is going to be excited to show off his skull shirt.

I'm really excited about this post!  I have never before owned a canvas print I have always heard amazing things about how great the quality of canvas prints are and how the color always looks amazing, but I myself have never owned one.  Until today!

Let me tell you I am so amazed!  I'm sure you can see from my photo that the colors do look amazing and I can tell you that the canvas is high quality!  I love how putting a photo on canvas gives it life and really makes it stand out in a room.  So far everyone who seen my new Canvas print can't stop complimenting it!  I love that it gives my living room a whole new feel. 

This particular Canvas print was made by Easy Canvas prints.  I love their site not only are they super easy to use, but they offer so many choices it really gives you the ease of mind when purchasing!

Being the mommy of 2 little boys means I spend a lot of time on my feet.  I always feel like I'm chasing one of them, add to that 3 pups and some days I swear I don't sit.  Since I am always on my feet they tend to get tired and sore and just uncomfortable.  It has gotten to the point where my back hurts for being on my feet all day.

I knew something had to change just because I'm in pain doesn't mean my boys are going to suddenly stop.  Nope sadly I still didn't locate their on off switch :)

Mommy + sore feet and back + kids = disaster 

I need a solution something to make my day easier!

So off searching I went trying desperately to find something anything that would help with my sore tired feet.  And then I stumbled upon the Therafit Shoe site.

After reading that I knew I had to have them!  So I reached out and asked to review a pair.  I'm sure you know how excited I was to find out I was approved and would be able to receive a pair for review.

I reviewed the Carly Brown Sandal, not only are these shoes super comfy, but they are also stylish!  They got put to the test right away with a family shopping trip.

I love that my feet didn't hurt at all, when wearing these and to be honest it almost felt as if I was walking on memory foam!!  I know I wasn't, it was just that cushioned.

No hard steps no shooting pain from my foot to hip.  Just a nice walk with my boys around the mall!

I no longer have to locate that off on switch because I found the next best thing!  Shoes that help me keep up with my little guys without the consequential pain!
